Get To Know The Team

Stephanie Ott

Program Director and Preschool Lead Teacher
Stephanie has a degree from The University of Toledo and many additional early childhood classes from MCCC. She lives in Ida with her husband and two children. Stephanie teaches the four year old preschool classes as well.

Chris Knaggs

Financial Director
Chris is a graduate of Monroe High School, but has children who attended Ida. She works with several age groups when needed, but primarily the school-age children. Chris is also a member of Prince of Peace and is involved with various organizations.

Lisa Turner

Preschool Assistant and Caregiver
Lisa has been with Ida Kids Center since 2001. She is an assistant in all three of our preschool classes. Lisa opens on Fridays and works with the older children after school. She has three grown children, two grandchildren and lives in Taylor with her husband.

Candy Young

Daycare Lead Teacher
Candy grew up in Lapeer and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Oakland University. She has two children who attend Ida. Candy will be working every day during the mornings and early afternoons.

Alison Turner

Caregiver
Ali is a graduate from The University of Toledo. Her degree is in Speech Pathology. Ali works with the toddlers and daycare children. She also graduated from Ida High School.

Alyssia Satkowski

Caregiver
Miss Alyssia recently graduated from Ida High School. She is continuing her education at Monroe county community college and plans to study early childhood. She loves kiddos and can't wait to get to watch them learn and grow.

Mandy Beasley

Caregiver
Mandy is a mom who lives in Monroe with her husband and daughters. She opens often and works with the toddler group most of the time.

Megan Brown

Toddler Lead Teacher
Megan has a degree in Early Childhood from The University of Toledo. She lives in Ida and has a little girl. She loves spending time with the toddler bunch and loves to see them grow and change.

Heather Manor

Caregiver
Heather is back with us after a short absence. She works different times throughout the week and floats between rooms. Heather lives here in Ida with her husband. She has three grown children.

Rachael Anastasoff

Caregiver
"Rae" is a Dundee graduate and has a daughter who attends Ida. She works mainly in the afternoons in various classrooms. Her daughter also attends the center.

Rachel Brubaker

Caregiver
Rachel has recently returned to the center. We are excited to have her back and so are the children. She is working with several age groups. Rachel went to preschool here when she was little.

Ariana Bliss

Caregiver
Ariana is a senior at Ida High School. After graduating she will attend Monroe County Community College. Her major will be Early Childhood Education. Ariana works primarily with the toddlers and young daycare children.
